What is (VoIP)?

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) in it’s simplest sense is the ability to make and take telephone calls over the Internet, instead of a traditional voice only network. The advantage to VoIP is you receive higher quality at a lower price.

How long will it take to transfer my telecommunications service to Grid4?

To enjoy the benefits of Grid4 services, we complete “The Switching Process” often within 30 days of your order.

Is my billing information available online?

Yes, to obtain billing information, free of charge, at any time through our customer center section of our website. You will receive complete, up-to-date account information, be able to view your current services or change your billing address, and more.

Is Grid4 service available in my area?

Does our local calling area change when we switch to your service?

No, if you remain in the same location, your local calling area remains the same.

Will your service work with my existing phones?

Yes. You do not need special telephone equipment to work with our service. When you change providers for your local or long distance phone services, some things won’t change – like how the phone connects to the service, how you contact a 911 operator in an emergency, or how you look up a number in directory assistance.

Will I get to keep the same features that I currently have with my local provider?

Grid4 offers many of the same local calling features you have now – everything from Caller ID to three-way Call Calling. To find out what features can be ordered, please use the “Contact Us” section of this web site to contact one of our Sales Representatives or customer care team members.

Can I keep my current phone numbers with Grid4’s services?

Yes, Grid 4 will enable you to keep your current number when you switch your service to Grid4.

What do I do if I have a problem with my phone service?

Can I keep my current toll-free numbers?

Yes. Grid4 can port over your existing numbers from your previous carrier, or we can provide you with a new toll-free number.

Does Grid4 offer local and long distance plans?

Yes, Grid4 offers a range of local and long distance plans. Please contact Customer Care, or schedule a visit with a Grid4 Sales Representative to determine which plan is right for you.
