The staff of Grid4 Communications Inc., an IP communication solutions company in Troy, MI, extended a generous helping hand to less fortunate members of Metro-Detroit this week with their holiday charity donations. Grid4’s customer care department conducted their annual needs drive benefiting the Grace Centers of Hope in Pontiac, Michigan. Gift cards, clothing, non-perishable food, kitchen supplies, toiletries, office & nursery items were collected over the course of the drive. Grid4 also supported The Boys and Girls Club of Troy’s Adopt a Family, making Christmas a little more special for a few very deserving children.

“It is incredibly heart-warming to see the generosity of the Grid4 employees. It’s great that Grid4 supports charities like Grace Centers of Hope and The Boys and Girls Club who help struggling local families enjoy a Merry Christmas despite tough times,” said Amy Noora, billing analyst at Grid4.

Grace Centers of Hope is Oakland County’s oldest and largest homeless shelter providing hope and help since 1942. Today, Grace Centers of Hope is considered one of the leading faith-based organizations in Southeastern Michigan daily confronting issues of homelessness, addiction, poverty and spiritual emptiness. On any given night, Grace Centers of Hope will accommodate between 150-200 men, women and children. Each year they serve over 127,000 meals and provide over 55,000 nights of stay.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan (originally the Boys’ Club of Detroit) provides high quality youth development programs, sporting activities, events and a safe haven for children from all walks of life. The Clubs have been credited with “saving lives” of children who often have no one to turn to in times of family problems, poverty, failing grades and other difficult situations.
