L1 Network Technician

L1 Network Technician

We are seeking a level 1 network technician to join our network operations team. A successful candidate must have a strong understanding of LANs and VoIP to help deliver a world-class customer experience.The candidate will be responsible for configuring and troubleshooting equipment and communicating that with the customer.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Configuring and deploying equipment to establish phone and data connections to customer equipment
  • Interfacing with (or replacing) existing customer equipment when necessary
  • Testing cabling and other equipment with a field services technician
  • Troubleshooting IP based telephony equipment
  • Building a fully functioning time machine
  • Participating in cross-training opportunities
  • Providing level 1 support for commercial VoIP customers
  • Effectively communicating with customers to provide up to date statuses of projects or resolutions to problems
  • Analyzing workflow, accessing information and security requirements for telecommunication services

SQL Developer

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer. The candidate must possess a working knowledge of SQL (MSSQL and MySQL varieties), T-SQL as well as basic programming skills. The individual will be responsible for designing, testing, implementing and documenting different SQL scripts, stored procedures and applications for business workflow.

We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative. A successful candidate will provide the Grid4 Communications customer with a great level of priority service. Working as a team member, you’ll take ownership of our customer’s inquiries, questions and troubles to ensure top-notch service is provided. Our goal is to make sure our customers are satisfied with every step of their request.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Timely answering of incoming telephone calls
  • Assisting customers with billing inquiries
  • Responding to customers move, add, change or disconnect requests
  • Possessing an awareness of the Grid4 services and confidently explain the features and benefits of each

Local Provisioner

Local Provisioner

We’re looking for a local provisioner to help champion the ordering and coordination processes required to on-board customers to Grid4’s network. A successful candidate will posses skills and knowledge used to facilitate number porting, directory listings, toll free porting and switched long distance services. We like to win and customer service is top priority, so you must have a “customer-first” mentality.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Processing customer service order requests for voice and data services
  • Monitor, track and coordinate service orders to ensure timely and accurate service activation
  • Circuit testing & acceptance from service providers
  • Solving difficult, non-routine problems
  • Hopscotch skills
  • Updating databases associated with orders
  • Interacting cross-functionally with a wide variety of people and teams
  • Validation of customer’s service address, rate centers and PSAP
  • Initiate ASR/LSR through the local exchange carriers’ provisioning systems
  • Identify and assign central office CFA utilizing internal provisioning databases
  • Providing firm order confirmation for incoming carrier orders
  • Processing orders for CNAM & Directory Listings as deemed necessary for order processing
  • This coordination involves internal and external people and organizations
  • Process and manage moves, adds, changes, and disconnection orders for existing Grid4 customers

Client Relations Representative

Client Relations Representative

We are seeking a full-time Client Relations Representative. This position will be active in delivering Grid4’s promise of a great experience to our customers. As an individual, you will build relationships with new and existing clients and act as their advocate within Grid4. A successful candidate will be one that is adept at communicating- over the phone, in person and in writing, with clients as well as within Grid4.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for client communications and conflict resolution (think: Jedi mind skills)
  • Proactively conduct account reviews to review service needs, Identify further revenue opportunities, and gauge customer satisfaction
  • Ensures all client issues are dealt with in an effective and timely manner, informing Director of any issues that may arise
  • Manage accounts and customer requests
  • Responsible for analyzing client accounts and designing solutions
  • Execute and oversee Grid4 client onboarding program
  • Maintain customer records by confirming and updating account information
  • Provide assistance and support to upper management

A qualified sales engineer candidate will be a technical resource and all-around expert, supporting the Grid4 Sales effort. This crucial role provides a shortened sales cycle by overcoming technical hurdles during the sales process and ensures the solutions we deliver fit the technical requirements of the customer. Sales engineers are required to have exceptional communication skills, technical expertise in telecommunications, a sales mindset, and must work well in a team environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing assistance for Sales by recommending Grid4 products which fit customer requirements
  • Working with network engineering, network operations and business development by assisting in the development of new products to enhance our sales opportunities
  • Project management of key/major accounts sales to coordinate expeditious and seamless implementation of new customers
  • Performing site surveys to address the requirements of potential customers
  • Providing technical training to sales associates. This includes new and existing sales associates
  • Ensuring orders are technically accurate
