Q: What is (VoIP) Voice over Internet Protocol?
A: Voice over Internet Protocol, (VoIP), uses IP technologies over Grid4’s private network instead of traditional phone lines to transfer phone calls. The advantage to VoIP is you receive the same quality of service, but a better lower price.

A: Yes, Grid4 offers a range of local and long distance plans. Please contact Customer Care, or Schedule a visit with a Grid4 Sales Representative to determine which plan is right for you.

A: No, if you remain in the same location, your local calling area remains the same.
Q: Will your service work with my existing phones?
A: Yes. You do not need special telephone equipment to work with our service. Q: What is Broadband Internet?
A: In general, broadband refers to telecommunication in which a wide band of frequencies is available to transmit information, allowing more information to be transmitted in a given amount of time. Broadband Internet has many advantages over dial up Internet access. Broadband is up to ten times faster than a standard connection. It is accessed through a cable or DSL modem. What this means for you is quick, efficient Internet service, including downloading photos and music, sending email attachments in seconds and sound capabilities comparable to CD and DVD quality. In addition, since broadband doesn't tie up your phone line, you can surf the Internet and not worry about missing important phone calls.
