Troy, MI – March 3, 2009 – Grid4 Communications has initiated a company wide Internship program to assist college students in the transition from formal education to professional careers. The summer 2009 semester will kickoff Grid4’s job creation initiative for Michigan students and graduates.
Grid4 plans to integrate interns in eight different departments, including: Customer Care, Customer Implementation, Corporate Account Sales, Graphic Design and Creative, Marketing, Network Operations, Network Engineering and Softswitch Technician. Grid4 has selected Oakland County students, specifically Oakland University for this initiative.
“Our ultimate goal is to transition Interns to permanent members of the Grid4 Team. Our exciting technology has resulted in aggressive growth at Grid4. In an effort to continue to accelerate this growth, we must continue to employ the best and brightest. Oakland University is potentially an ideal resource; it just makes sense to support the County that supports us,” says Christopher Hopkins, Grid4 CEO.
