Grid4 Communications Honored With Emerging Sectors Award

TROY, Mich. – August 11, 2008 – Grid4 Communications, telecommunications service provider based in Troy, Mich., has been named a recipient of an award congratulating companies involved in Oakland County’s Emerging Sectors reaching the $1 Billion mark in investment.

Grid4 Communications was presented the award on May 22, 2008 for demonstrating growth and generating an optimistic outlook for the future Michigan economy. Grid4 has emerged as a major player in the telecommunications industry, and being based locally in Michigan warranted positive recognition from Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson.

Grid4 Communications is a rapidly growing Michigan business geared towards provisioning next-generation telecommunication products. Since the foundation of Emerging Sectors in 2004, Grid4 has increased its number of employees by more than 250 percent, and made significant advancements in the technological field.
